SALON MANAGER
We’re on the hunt for a Salon Manager to join our team. As well as ensuring our salon runs smoothly, our team will look to you for leadership, motivation and great judgement. From promoting our values to upholding our standards, it will be your job to set in motion a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence always aimed at optimising the client experience and business objectives. The ideal candidate will be an existing salon manager or an experienced stylists interested in taking a step into management.  Or a blended role with some days cutting, some days managing. Day to day roles include:

  • Motivating the team, supporting individuals. Keeping the team focused upon our priorities and creating the conditions for staff to deliver their best work in a happy work environment. 
  • Upholding our high standards of client care and service quality. Exactly what it says! You are ultimately accountable for the client journey at each stage from enquiry to rebooking and follow up.
  • Creating & communicating the plan. One of the most important roles you have is to translate our business goals, vision, values and strategy into an operational plan. And provide feedback on how we’re doing against that plan.
  • Managing targets & measuring business performance. This includes evaluating business reports, making recommendations, setting team commission targets and reporting performance to staff. Don’t be put off by this – it’s a key part of managing a business and you will have full support from the floor managers and owners.
  • Staff rota & holiday cover. There is no getting away from this one! An essential task to ensure we have the right people in the right place at the right time. And that our team gets time to rest and refresh. 
  • Collecting client / staff  feedback and taking action. Feedback is how we get better at what we do. We need you to hear what our staff and clients are saying and implement valuable changes based upon their good ideas. 
  • Giving feedback. In addition to receiving feedback, it’s your job to give it too! You will share well intentioned and constructive feedback help our people grow and and improve.

SALON ASSISTANT
We’re looking for a Salon Assistant to join our team! Not only will you be part of a fantastic team, you’ll also be learning from some of the most talented individuals in the business. Typical day to day roles include:

  • Liaising between reception and stylists/therapists to ensure smooth client transitions.
  • Preparing for client arrival, greeting clients and guiding them to their stylist.
  • Assisting stylists – shampooing & scalp massages, conditioning, neutralising perms, stripping colours, hair treatments, blow drying/finishes.
  • Assisting therapists – ensuring equipment and treatment rooms are clean and ready to go.
  • Being attentive to clients
  • Flexibility to work in other roles eg Reception
  • Help others to be prepared – let us know when something isn’t working or stock is running low. Or if there is anything else that might detract from our aim of superior client care.

SENIOR STYLIST
We’re looking to add a Senior Stylist to our growing team. The ideal candidate will be creative, style conscious and dedicated. We’re looking for someone with qualifications and/or ability to demonstrate advanced cutting and colouring techniques. A stand out candidate will bring experience at a senior level but this isn’t essential – we’re looking for capability and character above all.

BEAUTY THERAPIST
We’re seeking a beauty therapist to join our team. Our beauty department spans three levels within our building, perched on the banks of river Tay. The ideal candidate will be attentive, dedicated and qualified at HND or S/NVQ level 3 in Beauty Therapy. We will provide training for our specific treatments and provide full support as you transition into the role.
