Covid 19 Guidelines

Covid-19 Client Guidelines

The safety of our team and our customers is our priority. We want our salon to be somewhere you can relax and feel safe, so in line with government direction we have introduced some new guidelines which might feel a little different on your arrival. Below we have outlined changes you can expect to see throughout your client journey. What hasn’t changed is our dedication to you, your safety and delivering our five-star service and treatments.

If you could please read our guidelines it would be much appreciated.

Purpose of Guidelines:

  • Decrease the risk of a Covid-19 positive client entering the salon.
  • Decrease the number of people in salon at any one time.
  • Should an asymptomatic client attend the salon, our guidelines will greatly decrease the risk of infection transmission to other clients and team members.

Scheduling Appointments:

  • When you call for an appointment our team will work through a comprehensive list of ‘client screening questions’ to identify any recent symptoms of illness. If the answer yes to any of the client screening questions, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment until a time it is safe to do so.
  • Should your answers change in the days before you are due to attend your appointment, you must let us know and cancel your appointment.
  • Please inform the salon when booking if you require a patch test. Treatments including colour, LVL, brow and lash tinting all require a patch test if you are new to the salon, if it has been over 6 months since you have had this treatment done within the salon or have used a box dye.
  • Home colour kits may have impacted your salon colour result. Please note that more than one appointment may be required to correct any home colour applications. This will be determined by your colourist at your appointment and from there you may need to schedule a further appointments to correct your colour.

Client Screening Questions:

  • Have you or anyone in your household had any of the following symptoms in the last 14 days: dry cough, fever, high temperature, shortness of breath, loss of sense of taste or smell, sore throat?
  • Have you been in close contact with anyone with confirmed Covid-19 without wearing appropriate PPE?
  • Are you in the high-risk category (clinically extremely vulnerable) as defined by the UK government?
  • Are you in the moderate risk category (clinically vulnerable) as defined by the UK government?
  • If you are unsure about the risk categories above please check the UK government guidance. Information is available at nhs.com under “Who’s at higher risk from coronavirus”.

 Thank You:

We thank you for taking the time to read this information. Although many of the salon frills have had to be removed for now, what still remains is the warmth we welcome you with, the skill and experience in which your treatments will be delivered and the ethos of going above and beyond as much as we can for you, in what is of course a nerve-wracking time.

We look forward to seeing you again in the salon.
