At Sutherlands Hair and Beauty it is important to us that you have all of the correct information prior to booking your appointment in the salon so you get the best experience possible. This is why we offer you treatment advice, which is available in a PDF format at the bottom of each individual treatment page.

When booking your appointment online if your service does not appear please call the salon to book as it may be a reception only booking.

Treatment Advice provides the following information:

  • Consultation Information: patch testing advice and medical conditions that may limit the treatment procedure.
  • Pre-treatment Advice: this makes sure that you come into the fully salon prepared for your appointment and ensures you have not done anything that may effect the results of the treatment.
  • Aftercare Advice: this ensures you get the most from your treatment. Also many of the salon procedures have necessary protocol to follow on completion of the treatment.

Late Policy

In the event that you are running late, please notify the salon as soon as possible. If you are delayed by more than 10 minutes please be aware we may not be able to allocate your full appointment time. We reserve the right to charge the full treatment cost.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your appointment, please provide 24 hours notice where possible. Should you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, a cancellation fee of 50% of the booked treatment will apply. Non-Attendance Policy

If you do not attend a scheduled appointment and no cancellation notification is received, we reserve the right to charge 100% of the booked treatment cost which must be paid prior to booking further appointments. Discounted vouchers cannot be redeemed during December. Vouchers that are purchased with a discount applied must be used when the offer states or if not part of an offer, must be used between January and November of the valid year.


A 50% deposit is required for large groups i.e. bridal parties. Deposit must be paid in advance in order to secure your booking.

Returns Policy

If you are returning a product purchased in our salon, it is our pleasure to exchange it for a product of equal value or a credit note providing the product is unused and in a re-sellable condition. Proof of purchase will be required and the product must have been purchased within the past two weeks prior to returning.

Privacy Policy

Your personal data is collected when you provide it to us through Phorest software, our website, over the phone, by email, social media, in writing or any other means by which you provide it to us. Information is stored using the Phorest software platform as well as some level of paper record keeping.

We take your privacy seriously and we will never sell or rent your personal data to any third-party. Any marketing activities carried out on behalf of the salon are only carried out with your express consent, which you are free to withdraw at any time.

We obtain and process your personal data to provide you with our products, services and treatments and to fulfil our business and legal obligations. We will never collect any personal information from you that we do not need or retain any data that is no longer necessary for the purposes specified in this notice.

Where we request sensitive personal data from you (i.e. health or medical data), the reason(s) for the request will be clearly given along with the purposes of the processing. Explicit consent through a signature will always be required for us to obtain and process your health information.

Sutherlands Hair and Beauty gives you access to information about your account and bookings through Phorest software, for the limited purpose of viewing and updating that information.
